I've tried to apply zoomify to some of my own photograhs:
I'm not as happy with these as I am with the historic scans.
I think my camera resolution (3 megapixels) and content don't play well with the zoomify medium.
Maybe a good intricate and interesting scene (and more than 6 megapixels) would work better.
